REVIEW: The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a Great Way to Try Classic British Food

DSCN8289A few weeks ago, we dined at The Rose & Crown Dining Room before seeing The Candlelight Processional.  You read read about our experience for that here.  For the event, we decided to use the dining package which gave us reserved seats, but one of the better things about the package is you get to eat a three course meal for a flat rate.  At $57 per person, we were able to receive reserved seats for a Candlelight Processional show and dine at the Rose & Crown with the ability to choose anything on the menu and not worry about cost.  This gave is a wonderful chance to sample quite a bit at the restaurant, which we had never dined at before.  And I have to say, after eating there, we will definitely be returning!  Read the rest of this entry

Neil Patrick Harris Returns for the Candlelight Processional

DSCN8300Every year for the Christmas season, Epcot hosts their annual Candle Light Processional for Guests in the American pavilion.  If you’re unfamiliar with what Candlelight is, then I highly suggest you check it out.  It is a live telling of the birth of Christ complete with a full orchestra and chorus.  The story is told by a celebrity narrator who is changed out every few days.  Each year, Disney will bring in a few new celebrities to read, but we also see ones return year after year, two examples being Whoopi Goldberg and the incredibly popular Neil Patrick Harris!

This was my second time attending the Candlelight Processional and definitely won’t be my last.  For this year, we decided to get the dinner package which I highly recommend!  You book a dinner reservation in Read the rest of this entry

As if Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld all sat down in a meeting together to discuss new safety measures for their parks, today, all three major chains added metal detectors outside the entrances of their parks for the busy holiday season.  The security add-ons, which are being received with mixed opinions among fans and Guests, are in response to the recent terrorist attacks and major rise in gun violence across the world.  Read the rest of this entry
