New Sweet Shop, Sugarplums, Opens in Diagon Alley

12713887_10153871643949437_233067554_nRecently, Universal opened up a new sweet shop inside Diagon Alley named Sugarplums Sweet Shop.  The store is connected to the Quidditch Supplies shop and Weasley Wizard Wheezes and replaced the former Shutter Buttons photo shop.

As for comparison to Honeydukes, located in Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, Sugarplums is a much smaller space and sells pretty much all of the same treats that you can find at Honeydukes, at least when I visited, so don’t think you need to visit this store if you’re in Hogsmeade.  But that’s not to say it couldn’t get unique items in the future.  After all, Universal has been very good about introducing new food items and snacks in the Harry Potter lands. However, it is very nice to now have a sweet shop in both Harry Potter lands! Check out the photos below for more.
