A Chocolate Lover’s Dream Come True: Toothsome Chocolate Factory Coming to Universal Orlando’s City Walk
If you are a big fan of chocolate, you’re in for a real treat! Universal just announced a brand new restaurant coming to City Walk later this year. Toothsome Chocolate Factory will take you into the 19th century with its Steampunk themed chocolate factory building. The ‘new’ building will feature tall smoke stacks, Steampunk style gadgetry all around, and the staff will all be dressed in unique Steampunk fashion.
Guests will be able to indulge their sweet tooth with foods you’d think came right from Willy Wonka! Toothsome Chocolate Factory will feature unique twists on classic steak, seafood, and pasta entrees. There will also be gourmet burgers, sandwiches, salads, and all-day brunch. But that’s just the beginning.
The dessert will be what really brings people in! Toothsome will have specialty milkshakes and sundaes! The Universal Orlando Blog gave us a peak at what we will get.
Chocolate x5: An explosion of chocolate with chocolate spirals, chunks, ice-cream and whipped cream.
Bacon Brittle: A fun twist on a breakfast favorite with bacon ice cream, bacon brittle, chocolate covered bacon and bacon caramel.
Espresso Buzzzz: A coffee lover’s dream with coffee ice-cream and chocolate covered beans.
Red Velvet: A milkshake topped with a Red Velvet cupcake… enough said.
Key Lime Pie: We’ve taken this classic Florida dessert and turned it into a delicious shake. You’ll even get a slice of pie on top!
The sundaes are anything but ordinary with flavors like Salted Caramel Flan, Chocolate Brownie Bark and S’mores. This extreme twist on a summer favorite features layers of chocolate ice-cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallow cream and graham crackers.
Guests will even be able to watch the chocolate creations being made and purchase their own from the restaurant’s merchandise shop.
Toothsome Chocolate Factory is replacing the shuttered NBA City which closed in 2015. The building is currently under construction/refurbishment for this brand new addition to City Walk! No official opening date has been announced.
