BREAKING: The Muppets Are Coming to the Magic Kingdom in a New Attraction

Sam_myspaceAs reported by WDWNT, the Magic Kingdom will apparently be gaining some new members to its family.  According to reports, the Muppets are coming to Liberty Square’s Heritage House.  That’s correct. The Heritage House has been under a facade refurbishment for some time which now seems to apparently have been for installing this new addition/attraction.

When it premieres, the Heritage House will now feature The Muppets interacting with Guests by teaching them about U.S. history.  The Muppet characters will be located in the second story windows of Liberty Square’s Heritage House and have reportedly been built from a collaboration between the Jim Henson company and WDI.  I imagine they will be something quite spectacular.

Heritage-House-Magic-Kingdom-Walt-Disney-WorldWalt Disney World has not announced the opening of this new addition/attraction as of yet, however, testing is rumored to begin soon.  I would think that since it is in Liberty Square and they will be teaching about U.S. history, Disney will want this working for 4th of July weekend!  No word yet on which Muppet characters we’ll see, but I’m pretty sure we can expect Sam the Eagle and hopefully it’ll be called “A salute to all countries, but mostly America!”

What do you think of this addition into the Magic Kingdom? Should the Muppets stay at Hollywood Studios? Or will you welcome them with open arms.  Thanks for reading.
