We’ve all heard of the insanely popular Disney restaurants located in the theme parks and even a few in the resorts. Chef Mickey’s has become a staple for Guests to take their children to. The Crystal Palace and Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom are family traditions to dine at. And ‘Ohana is one restaurant which almost everyone who has dined at raves about. But what about the more hidden restaurants? The ones which can generally be pretty easy to find a reservation for, but end up giving fantastic service and even better food? For example, have you ever dined at The Wave located on the lobby level of Disney’s Contemporary Resort? One of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World. If you want a signature dining experience, consider Artist Point. Located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, this restaurant has been well hidden from Guests for 20 years. However, most of their diners are repeat Guests. So much so, both the Cast Members and diners know each other by name. But we’re not here to talk about these other restaurants. We’re here to discuss a restaurant I’ve heard rave reviews about for months and finally had the chance to dine at: The Turf Club Bar and Grill. Read the rest of this entry
A couple months ago, Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted its third track for Toy Story Midway Mania! Located right next door inside the usually empty Sound Stage 1, which was used to years ago for the Frozen Summer Fun ice rink and activities, the third track has increased the rides capacity by 50%. The wait times have largely dipped in numbers and FastPasses are now much easier to reserve right before you visit! I finally had the chance to see the second loading station and take some photos. The details are fabulous and honestly, knock the original station out of the park. As for the ride itself, it is exactly the same and surprising Disney was able to fit all of this inside the single building. Check out the photos below. Read the rest of this entry
Did you know you could play miniature golf on Walt Disney World property? In fact, they have two completely different courses: Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. Located right next to Blizzard Beach water park is Disney’s Winter Summerland. And it’s themed to, you guessed it, Santa’s Village in winter and summer! I’ve wanted to play this course for many years and finally had the chance to. If you’ve never played mini golf on Disney property, it’s a great way to take a break from the crowds! One round of golf costs $14 for adults and $12 for children (3-9 years). Read the rest of this entry
Here we are everyone! One month away from the opening of what looks like an incredible year for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. It’s been a long summer of waiting to hear all of the announcements and we have not been disappointed. Six IP houses and three originals, an up-charge house bringing us to an even ten. Plus, we’re getting five scare zones and two shows again. Chance returns this year as our host and is getting her own house and scare zone. With the official HHN Twitter announcing they had decided to do all of the most requested houses this year, it certainly sounds like it is going to be another season for the books! I think the fans will be in love with everything they have to offer for this season. Here is everything you need to know! Read the rest of this entry
Just two days ago, Universal Orlando announced their three original houses and five scare zones, leaving us to believe there was just one house left to be announced. Well, it turns out that wasn’t the case. Today, Universal Orlando announced a brand new virtual reality up-charge experience coming to HHN 26! Check out the announcement below!
Yesterday, Universal decided to release details of all three of their original houses PLUS all five scare zones! It was quite an exciting time. This tallies us to 8 out of 9 houses, 5 scare zones, and 2 shows! The event is packed yet again for another year of crazy fun, only this time, Chance is in charge. And thanks to a tweet from the official HHN twitter account (Hollywood), we now know they decided to do all of the properties fans request most often. Since Hollywood and Orlando are duplicating many houses, this comes as no surprise. Check out the newly released details below! Read the rest of this entry
Yea, I know the title is ironic because I’m writing my own review and thus becoming a critic myself, but read it anyway. Also, this review will be as spoiler free as possible since the trailers left quite a bit of the plot out of them, so no worries. This is definitely of one my longer reviews, so if it’s too much for you to read, there is a TL:DR recap at the end.
So let’s get started. If you don’t know much about Suicide Squad, one of the easiest comparisons and ways to explain it is it is basically DC’s version of Guardians of the Galaxy. Bare bones, it’s a handful of bad guys brought together to team up to do some good. And yet, it’s so much more. Directed by David Ayer, Suicide Squad is DC’s third installment into their cinematic universe. In the film, Amanda Waller, played by the lovely Viola Davis, has assembled a team of the worst of the worst; “bad guys” with unique Read the rest of this entry
