Starbright Holidays – Full Show, Photos, and Review!
Disney is trying really hard to turn Disney Springs into a full out destination for Guests and I have to admit, they’re doing a pretty good job. Filled with shops and restaurants of all kinds, live entertainment, and two brand new addition for this Christmas season – The Christmas Tree Trail and now this amazing drone show called Starbright Holidays.
The show features 300 flying drones displaying LED lights as they soar over the lake next to Disney Springs. Throughout the show, the drones form different shapes in the sky, such as a Christmas tree and an angel, all while flying to an original Disney arrangement of classic holiday songs, which were recorded by a full orchestra. It should be noted this is the first time a drone show of this caliber has ever been performed in the U.S.

Overall, we loved the show. Where we stood, which was to the left of the food trucks behind Bongos along the water, we got a clear view of the entire show. So I highly recommend viewing it from the water edge of the West Side of Disney Springs. I have heard/read some not so great things about other viewing areas, such as by The Boathouse. We thought it was incredibly impressive. It’s definitely not like anything I’ve seen before. Sure, it’s only 5 minutes, but so what. This is such a brand new thing for Disney. I’m sure if it’s a hit, or even if it isn’t, Disney will come back with something even more impressive. The show is beautiful for what it is. It’s great to see a full out Christmas show. No, not every design is flawless; and I don’t even think everything is supposed to be a specific design, just colors in the sky. Regardless, in our eyes, we all agreed this was a big win for Disney and the crowds definitely loved it.
Starbright Holidays officially premiered on November 20, but many guests got to see it a few nights before in a preview show. It now performs nightly at Disney Springs at 7pm and 8:30pm. Be sure to grab a spot along the water’s edge to see the show perfectly. It’s only 5 minutes long, so arrive early and grab a spot! Here are some photos of the show below.
