Grinchmas and Other Christmas Offerings Begin December 3rd at Universal Orlando
Beginning this weekend at Universal Orlando until January 1st, Guests can experience all Universal has to offer for it’s Christmas celebrations. These aren’t in just one, but both parks of Universal Orlando!
For a Whoville Christmas, head over to Islands of Adventure into Seuss Landing where you’ll be able to find the Whovilles out and about. Once you get your photo op, be sure to catch a live retelling of the classic story, Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Starring The Grinch™ and featuring music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, The Ginchmass Who-liday Spectacular is a 30 minute stage adaptation inspired by the Ron Howard film. It’s a great way to catch the Christmas spirit and have a few laughs. Check out the show times below.

Once you’ve completed your experiences at Islands of Adventure, head over to Universal Studios Florida for a few more shows and a parade, perhaps you’ve heard of it? The Macy’s Holiday Parade!
A Barney Holiday
A show often forgotten about hidden way in the back of the children’s section of the park, join Barney and his friends for this magical musical show full of songs at “A Day in the Park with Barney!”
The Blues Brothers Holiday Show
A show I personally love, the Blues Brothers Holiday Show is the perfect way to catch your Christmas carols with a rock twist. Jake and Elwood will perform your holiday favorites such as “Santa Claus is Coming To Town” and “Blue Christmas,” ending each show with a snow fall finale right on Delancey Street.
The Macy’s Holiday Parade
Have you ever wanted to experience the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in person? Well, now you can experience a mini version of it! Once the parade is complete, each year, many of the balloons and floats are sent straight to Univeral Orlando for our very own Macy’s Holiday Parade. The parade also features marching bands, clowns, and of course, an appearance by Santa himself! (And for those of you who don’t know, you can even volunteer to be in the parade and be a balloon holder!) Once the parade is complete, head to the main Christmas Tree located right outside Finnegans for its incredible tree lighting ceremony.
The parade begins at 5pm on December 3-18 and 8pm on December 19-January 1.
Mannheim Steamroller Concert
Finish off your night with a free concert presented by Mannheim Steamroller! Every Christmas, the best-selling holiday artist of all time visits the Universal Orlando Resort to perform complimentary concerts for its Guests! Be aware, these concerts are only on the first three weekends of December. December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18. Shows start at 7pm!
