Magic Kingdom Replacing Train Station Welcome Show with new Castle Welcome

maxresdefault

Are you a fan of the Magic Kingdom Train Station Welcome show?  Well I’d catch it soon before it’s gone forever!  That’s right, Walt Disney World has decided to retire the show this coming January!

Starting January 9th, Guests will now be able to enter the Magic Kingdom park and stroll down Main Street U.S.A. early, before the actual scheduled opening time of the park.  This will allow Guests the opportunity for photo ops, breakfast offerings and even some light shopping before gathering in front of Cinderella’s Castle for a brand new Welcome Show located on the Castle Forecourt Stage.

The show will feature a Royal Herald to deliver a proclamation and a few of our favorite Disney friends from the Magic Kingdom will gather together to help officially open the park for the day.  Thanks to the recently expanded Hub, the area will provide a spacious viewing location for all Guests to see the new Castle Welcome Show.

The current Train Station Welcome Show will have its final performance on January 8th.
