If you haven’t already heard, Disney has kept a portion of Streets of America and is renaming it Grand Avenue. The sole purpose of the street is to be a built-in queue line for the new land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. However, that’s not all that will be there.
Themed to the current vibrant culture life of downtown Los Angeles, Grand Avenue will display vintage office buildings and warehouse which are being converted for exciting Read the rest of this entry
My suspicions were correct! I hope you got your chance to say goodbye to Portobello at Disney Springs because it has been confirmed to not be returning at the end of its originally announced refurbishment. Just like Fulton’s Crab House, the restaurant will be undergoing a full make-over and be coming back with a brand new name, menu, and from the looks of it, will look a bit different as well.
The Portobello restaurant at Disney Springs closed last week for what was originally announced to be a half year’s refurbishment. It was to be coming back with a newly redesigned menu featuring family-style offerings and new Italian craft beers and wines. Read the rest of this entry
Dates for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party have officially been announced!
On Wednesday, I had the opportunity and pleasure to be among the first to sample the offerings at the Satu’li Canteen thanks to a Cast Member preview. As you may know, the Satu’li Canteen is located in the new land, Pandora – The World of Avatar. The new restaurant is a fast-casual style offering and, from what we could tell, is located on the right side of the land. So here is our brief experience and early review! We weren’t allowed to take pictures during the preview, so all food pictures are official photos Read the rest of this entry
Well, it finally came true. DisneyQuest is officially closing forever on July 3rd to ~ eventually ~ make way for The NBA Experience! Originially announced in 2015 to much shock and confusion, the project went silent only months later and was thought to have died. And yet, here we are a year later, again surprised to find out the project is alive and well. Read the rest of this entry

Well 2016 has come and gone and what a year it was for Florida theme parks. Both Busch Gardens and SeaWorld premiered outstanding coasters for their parks. Universal Orlando managed to bring Kong back home, but to incredibly mixed reviews. And Disney was all over the place with new shows at almost every park (some good, some awful), a new and revamped E-Ticket attraction for Epcot, an attempt to make Animal Kingdom a night time park, and new Star Wars offerings at Hollywood Studios including an incredibly impressive fireworks spectacular!
Now, with 2017 here, we have a number of things to anticipate at locations across Florida! Ranging from VR roller coasters to new attractions and technologically advanced lands to an entire water park, this coming year should be quite exciting. So here is our count down of what we’re most looking forward to seeing in 2017! Read the rest of this entry
Are you a fan of the Magic Kingdom Train Station Welcome show? Well I’d catch it soon before it’s gone forever! That’s right, Walt Disney World has decided to retire the show this coming January!
Starting January 9th, Guests will now be able to enter the Magic Kingdom park and stroll down Main Street U.S.A. early, before the actual scheduled opening time of the park. This will allow Guests the opportunity for photo ops, breakfast offerings and even some light shopping before gathering in front of Cinderella’s Castle for a brand new Welcome Show located on the Castle Forecourt Stage. OK everyone, no screwing around. This will be a hardcore spoiler free review of Rogue One. No character reveals, no plot points, hell, not even talking about locations. This is just about the film as a whole, its quality, etc. All you need to know about the film is it takes place before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, and it’s about a group of rebels setting out to steal the plans to the Death Star was which briefly mentioned at the beginning of Episode IV. Done.
So let’s cut to the chase. Rogue One could very well be the best Star Wars film to date. If it isn’t, it’s damn well close to it! I know everyone has their favorite. The hardcore fans love Empire, and I personally love Sith due to its tragic downfall story line, but holy hell, this movie was incredible. They pulled it off! WE GOT A WAR STAR WARS MOVIE and its practically perfect in every way. Read the rest of this entry
